A One day workshop was organised by St. Francis College of Nursing on 28.2.2024 for Nursing officers/Nursing students/Counsellors/MSW -Students & Teachers/College & School Teachers/Religious Leaders/Care Givers.The workshop commenced with a prayer song & Lamp lighting by Dr Usha Ukande, President of MEHA, Dr Maya Bhora, RCI Registered Rehabilitation Psychologist, Psychotherapist & Founder of Lakshya- the making way of education society,Fr Jenish, Asst Director & Prof. Dr. Blessy Antony, Principal cum Counsellor, St. Francis College of Nursing.The first session was taken by
Dr. Blessy Antony on the topic "Suicide: Magnitude & it's consequences" and Dr. Maya Bohra geared the second session of the workshop on gatekeepers training for suicide prevention. She emphasised the importance of QPR training as a key component of prevention.
