Need of the session: It has been observed that there is a gap in writing skills of the clinical instructors, while writing anecdotal records.

An interactive session was conducted by Prof. Dr. Blessy Antony, Principal, St. Francis College of Nursing on the topic “Anecdotal Record and SWOT Analysis” for clinical supervisors on 12/01/2024 at 2 pm. In this session madam has explained how to write Anecdotal record briefly. Madam also explained about SWOT analysis of the students in clinical area. She asserts on writing down the student’s clinical performance, their attitude towards their clinical posting, Skills and behavior in clinical setting. Madam also discussed clinical responsibilities of clinical supervisors while taking clinical rounds. What are the things a clinical supervisor have to assess and perform in clinical area. Overall this session was very informative and interactive. All the faculty members asked their doubts and madam resolve their queries as needful.
