School Health Awareness Program
On 6th November 2023, B.Sc. Nursing 2nd year students visited Inder & Prabha Sharma Girls School, A Non-Governmental Organization -unit of AIM for Seva, Khategaon established by Swami Dayanand Saraswati, for school health awareness program..
The participants of the awareness program were from class 5th to 12th.The program held successfully under the guidance of Prof Dr. Blessy Antony , Principal St. Francis College of Nursing.A motivational session was conducted by Dr.Mrs.Renu Kotwale.
Awareness was given basically on :
β’ Menstrual hygiene
β’ Safe touch and Social behaviour
β’ Basics of maintaining a healthy life
Students also presented skit, mime ,role play and teaching through parody.Students were supervised by Mrs. Neha Babru Asso. Prof. Community Health Nursing Dept and Ms.Jennifer Masih.
Around 360 students were benefited and participated enthusiastically.
