Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the health of individuals and the community by providing excellence in nursing education, nursing research, and nursing practice. We will advance the profession of nursing and serve as an instrument of healthcare for all people, especially the underprivileged.

The mission will be accomplished through our strategic priorities:

Education: Integrated study of the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities in order to ensure comprehensive knowledge of healthcare and promote understanding, compassion, and care of individuals in the context of family and society.

Practice: Provide quality practice to translate knowledge into skills and gain experience and confidence.

Exposure: Opportunities for regular exposure and outreach programmes in urban and rural areas.

Research: Ongoing research to help advance healthcare with special emphasis on the community and rural health concerns.
