ST. FRANCIS COLLEGE OF NURSING
World Heart Day
29.09.2021
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique that's useful in many emergencies, such as a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. The American Heart Association recommends starting CPR with hard and fast chest compressions. This hands-only CPR recommendation applies to both untrained bystanders and first responders. Considering the current day scenario St. Francis College of Nursing has taken an initiative to organize a hands-on training session from 10:00 Am to 12:00 Pm and 2:00 Pm to 4:00 Pm for the B.Sc Nursing 60 students at St Francis College of Nursing, Fundamental Lab which was successfully accomplished under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Blessy Antony, Principal, St. Francis College of Nursing. Asst. Professor, Mrs. Jismy Gibu was the Programme Coordinator and there was the active participation of the responders.
